Dr. Bala Mulloth, Founder
Dr. Bala Mulloth is an internationally recognized educator, innovator, and entrepreneur with a global perspective. Born and raised in Mumbai, he has studied in New York City, worked in Budapest, and now resides in Charlottesville, where he served as a professor of social entrepreneurship at the University of Virginia.
Dr. Mulloth is the Co-Founder of Hava, a materials science venture creating advanced fabrics that enable people to breathe cleaner air. His career spans leadership roles at prestigious institutions, including:
- Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management at Central European University (CEU) in Budapest, Hungary.
- Program Director of CEU’s experiential New York City MBA program.
- Visiting Faculty Fellow at the National Defense University.
- Senior Manager at NYU Tandon School of Engineering’s Office of Innovation Development, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship.
Dr. Mulloth holds a PhD in Technology Management from NYU Tandon School of Engineering, blending academic rigor with real-world entrepreneurial expertise to inspire the next generation of changemakers.

Lisa Smith, Marketing and Promotion Specialist
With 20 years of experience, educational consultant Lisa Smith has empowered students worldwide to navigate the complexities of college admissions and gain acceptance to their ideal institutions. Lisa's expertise spans the entire admissions journey, from identifying student strengths and passions to crafting compelling applications that resonate with admissions committees.
Before establishing her independent practice, Lisa honed her skills at the College and Career Center at New Canaan High School in Connecticut. There, she provided invaluable support to students and parents in a district recognized nationally for its academic excellence, achieving a #2 ranking in the U.S. by Forbes Magazine.
Lisa's background also includes extensive experience in marketing and promotions with leading media organizations such as CNN, The Disney Channel, and Warner Brothers. She leverages her communications expertise to help students discover their unique voice and effectively articulate their talents and aspirations to prospective colleges.
A graduate of the University of Georgia's Grady College of Journalism with a degree in Communications, Lisa is dedicated to helping students achieve their higher education goals.
